Police in Paterson this morning detained the driver of a vehicle wanted for a reported home invasion burglary in Essex County.
Officials said at approximately 1:25 a.m., officers spotted the felony vehicle near 64 Keen Street.
Officers stopped the vehicle then detained the driver without incident while Newark Police were notified and arrived at the scene.
According to reports, the vehicle was observed leaving the scene of a home invasion burglary in the city on June 22.
Police have not immediately released the location of the felony and have not said if the driver will be charged with the incident at this time.
