There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that happened in Newark's downtown on Tuesday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Court and Broad streets around 6:30 p.m.
Officers arrived and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no victims were located.
Police say bullets struck an unoccupied vehicle at that location.
The shooter ran from the scene and remains at-large.
