A vehicle reported stolen out of Kearny was located in a Newark East Ward community overnight.
Police patrolling the single digit block of Riverview Court came across a grey Jeep with a reported NJ license plate number "R76-HGC" in the area.
A check of the registration indicated that the vehicle was stolen from a neighborhood in Kearny.
It is not immediately clear if the vehicle was occupied and police have launched an investigation.
