Elizabeth Police are investigating a car theft that occurred at a gas station in the city overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the Fuel One Gas Station located on Spring and Olive streets shortly before midnight.
Police were told that a suspect made off with a white Acura that had the keys in the ignition.
The suspect sped from the scene northbound on Spring Street.
