An afternoon crash in Hopewell Twp. involving a special-needs van sent several to an area hospital.
Police responded to the westbound side of Route 546 around 3 p.m. for a crash involving a Dodge Caravan and a van with five passengers.
Initial investigations revealed that the Dodge - driven by a 17-year-old teen - ignored the stop sign on Dublin Road when he struck a passenger van - driven by 27-year-old Mia Doney of Trenton - occupied by five passengers.
As a precaution, the driver and all of the passengers were transported to an area hospital, police said.
The teenager was also transported to an area hospital with minor lacerations.
The crash remains under investigation.
