The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said the warning applies to Marketside Linguine with Beef Meatballs & Marinara Sauce in 12-oz. plastic tray packages.

The affected meals carry “best if used by” dates of September 22, 24, 25, 29, 30, and October 1, 2025, and display establishment numbers “EST. 50784” or “EST. 47718” within the USDA inspection mark.

The products, which were distributed to Walmart stores nationwide, tested positive for Listeria during routine sampling of pre-cooked pasta used as an ingredient.

Investigators are working to confirm whether the bacteria is linked to an outbreak previously connected to chicken fettuccine alfredo.

According to information released by USDA officials, additional products may be identified as the investigation continues.

Consumers are urged not to eat the meals in question and to check back for updates.
