Middle school students across Essex County will have an opportunity to explore technology and creative fields this summer as the Urban League of Essex County begins accepting applications for its upcoming STEAM summer camp.
According to information provided in a recent announcement, the program is open to students ages 11 to 13 and will run from July 6 through August 14.
The camp will take place through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is limited to Essex County residents.
Organizers say the program will be held at the organization’s Tech House facility and will focus on hands-on learning in several high-demand areas, including 3D printing, filmmaking, coding, and math.
The initiative is designed to introduce students to emerging technologies while helping them build practical and creative skills in a structured environment.
Participants and their families are encouraged to attend an in-person information session and tour prior to enrollment.
Registration details for the session are available online.
The program is supported in part through partnerships that aim to expand access to educational opportunities for local youth.

For additional information or to apply, families can contact program organizers directly or visit the registration link provided by the Urban League.
