UPDATE: Woman Charged with Fatal Tractor Trailer Collision in East Brunswick

Authorities in Middlesex County Prosecutor reported that a woman has been arrested and charged for fatally striking a man with a tractor-trailer.

Authorities said  Ms. Kimberly Holmes, 39, of Port Norris, was arrested and charged with third-degree Causing Death or Injury While Driving with a Suspended License.

According to a statement released by Middlesex Count law enforcement officials, at approximately 6:12 a.m., authorities responded to 19A Cottage Lane following a report of an unconscious male lying on a warehouse loading dock.

Officers arrived and located Uttam Sharma, 43, of Jackson Heights, New York, suffering severe injuries and ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

An initial investigation conducted by Detective Dennis Chieffo of the East Brunswick Police Department and Detective Mark Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined Holmes, whose driver’s license had been suspended, struck the victim as she drove up to the loading dock.
