UPDATE: Westfield Man Wanted for Questioning in Newark Shooting Incident

Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help in locating Mr. Antonio Pinho, 50, of Westfield, wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, October 31st.

Police say shortly after 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Sherman Avenue on a call of shots fired.

Witnesses at the scene reported that several men on motorcycles were involved in the incident.

One of the males was arrested at the scene according to police.

Detectives assigned to the Major Crimes Shooting Response Team have developed evidence identifying Pinho as a possible second suspect.

They are requesting the public’s assistance in quickly locating Pinho for questioning.
