UPDATE: Victim of March 3rd Paterson Shooting Dies

Passaic County authorities announced that the victim of the March 3rd shooting in the area of North 6th Street and Clinton Street has died.  

Police say Mr. Jaquan Harrison, 35, from Paterson had been hospitalized at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson in critical condition since the shooting, and this morning he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at approximately 2:30 a.m.

According to police,  at approximately 1:37 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of North 6th Street and Clinton Street in Paterson on a report of a shooting.  

Upon their arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located Mr. Harrison inside a building in the area of North 6th Street and Clinton Street with an apparent gunshot wound.

Police said Mr. Harrison was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment and was admitted in critical condition.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
