Jersey City Police took two women into custody and continue to search for several others in the beating of a motorist in the city on Sunday.
Police say the assault occurred at around 3 a.m. near the corner of Orient Way and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The unidentified man was pulled from the car and brutally attacked but suffered non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, Ms. Bria Exum, 26, and Shirley Burrows, 26, both face aggravated assault counts.
Police say Exum is also charged with burglary and endangering an injured victim.
The incident remains under investigation.
