UPDATE: Two Teenagers Injured in Clifton Shooting

Two 18-year-old Clifton residents were hospitalized following a shooting late Tuesday night, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi.

Authorities said officers were called to the area of Third Street and Foster Street around 10:57 p.m. on July 29, 2025, after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. 

 

Upon arrival, police located an 18-year-old male suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. He was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

 

At approximately 11:25 p.m., police were notified that a second 18-year-old male had arrived at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic with a non-fatal gunshot wound. 

 

That victim was later transferred to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

 

Investigators confirmed the shooting occurred near Third and Foster Streets, where they identified a potential crime scene. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not yet announced any arrests.
