UPDATE: Two Shootings Injure Five in New Brunswick

Middlesex County officials announced today that two shootings are under investigation.

According to authorities, on Thursday night,  at approximately 10:47 P.M., police responded to the area of Gatling Court and Bergen Court at Robeson Village following the report of a shooting.

Upon their arrival, officers located three victims who sustained apparent gunshot wounds.

Police said the victims were transported from the scene for medical attention.

According to police, in a possible separate shooting incident, at approximately 2:08 A.M., authorities also responded to a reported shooting on Easton Avenue between Hamilton and Condict Streets.

Authorities later located two victims who sustained apparent gunshot wounds.

One victim, whose identity is being withheld pending notification to their next-of-kin, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

“At present, the shootings appear to be related. However, the investigation is active and continuing”.
