Authorities in Hudson County are investigating a motor vehicle crash that left two pedestrians seriously injured Thursday afternoon in Harrison.

According to information released by Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello, the incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, along Woodland Drive in West Hudson Park.
The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of two pedestrians who had been struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers found two injured men, ages 58 and 48, both residents of Kearny. 
The victims were transported to University Hospital, where they remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
Authorities said the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene, along with the striking vehicle.
The investigation is being conducted by the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit in coordination with the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the investigation is active and ongoing, and no additional details were immediately released.
