UPDATE: Two Men Confirmed Dead in Burlington County Aircraft Crash

Authorities have confirmed that the two men aboard an aircraft that crashed this morning in Springfield Township, Burlington County were pronounced dead.

According to FAA officials, a Hawker Beechcraft 58 Baron aircraft crashed in Springfield Township around 10:10 this morning.

Authorities say the aircraft took off a short time earlier from South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton.

The crash is under investigation by the FAA.

The National Transportation Safety Board will determine the probable cause of the accident.

The identities of the two men are being withheld pending notification to their next of kin.
