Mercer County authorities are reporting a fatality in a double shooting that occurred in a section of Trenton on Monday evening.
According to officials, gunfire rang out at 110 Sanhican Drive around 6:37 p.m., sending Trenton Police Officers to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, police officers found two victims suffering gunshot wounds at that location.
Police say the pair were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where one of the victims was pronounced dead during the overnight hours.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office has taken over the investigation, and no arrests have been reported at this time.
