The suspect struck by police as he attacked two men attempting to detain him early Saturday morning has been charged with multiple offenses.
According to Mercer County authorities, Steven Camacho, 26, of South Clinton Avenue, Trenton, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and weapons offenses.
Authorities say he remains hospitalized in stable condition.
One of the stabbing victims remains hospitalized in stable condition. The other has been released from the hospital according to Mercer County authorities.
The incident remains under investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the New Jersey State Police.
