Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Kenneth Cop of the Rutgers University Police Department said authorities are investigating an incident in which three people were hospitalized after being stabbed today at the university’s Business School on the Livingston College campus in Piscataway.
The three were being treated at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for injuries they sustained during the incident, which occurred at 2:30 p.m.
A former student apparently initiated the incident and the other two individuals, a student and a faculty member, were injured.
No charges have been filed, but the investigation is active and is continuing.
