Update: Third Grader Accused of Starting Fires at Two Edison Schools

A third grader is reportedly in the center of an investigation as to who is responsible for the fires that were intentionally set in two Edison schools.

After investigating, officials determined that both fire were not only started after someone used a lighter to ignite rolls of toilet paper but in both schools the fires occurred in the boy's bathrooms.

The unidentified student was said to have been caught with a lighter.

Today school superintendent stated, "The student will be immediately suspended pending further investigation and the district will seek restitution from the student's parents/guardians for all and any damage at Washington School."  

No one was injured in either fire.
