A 16-year-old boy was transported to an area hospital after officials say he and his friends allegedly broke into the old Jersey City Reservoir.
Police were called to the reservoir near the corner of Summit and Jefferson avenues this evening for a report of that a teen had fallen into a well.
Upon arrival, firefighters rescued the unidentified teen after he fell approximately 30 feet down into a well.
The teen was transported to the hospital with what official described as non-life treating injuries.
No information was immediately available if any of the teens will face charges.
