Police in Newark are seeking the public’s help with identifying several males wanted for questioning in a carjacking that occurred on Friday evening.
Police say the carjacking occurred in the 100 block of Raymond Boulevard.
According to police, the suspects arrived at the location in a 2015 Honda Accord, four-door and gray in color, with New Jersey registration N10KLJ that has heavy front passenger side door damage and a repaired quarter panel.
The suspects were armed when they carjacked a gray 2006 Mercedes Benz S430V with New York registration JMZ5058.
Police say this vehicle has a black front bumper and black driver’s side fender and entered New York State at 5:20 am on March 14, 2020, via the Holland Tunnel.
Police believe that the vehicle was traveling toward Brooklyn, New York.
