UPDATE: Second Suspect Charged in Trenton Art Showcase Event Shooting

Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced this morning that a second suspect has been charged in the Art All Night shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Trenton.

According to authorities, Davone White, 26, of Trenton, is charged with unlawful possession of a weapon (second degree), certain persons not to possess a weapon (fourth degree) and possession of a large capacity magazine (fourth degree). White remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Officials say that there is no scheduled court appearance for him at this time.

Police also charged Amir “Mir” Armstrong, 23, with unlawful possession of a weapon (second degree). He also remains hospitalized in critical condition with no scheduled court date.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force continues to investigate the shooting.

Despite having been charged, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
