UPDATE: Second Male Dies From Injuries Sustained in Passaic Shooting

The Passaic County Prosecutors Office said at approximately 3:16 a.m. on October 28, Passaic Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Harrison Street and Hope Avenue in Passaic.

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes has confirmed the details of this tragic event.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. The first victim, identified as 25-year-old Edgar Guillen, a resident of Passaic, was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other individual, 18-year-old Mr. Kyle Schneider, also from Passaic, was rushed to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson for medical treatment.

Real EstateSadly, Passaic County officials said Schneider succumbed to his injuries on November 1. 

The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing, with law enforcement authorities working tirelessly to uncover more details.

Prosecutor Valdes assures the public that additional information will be released as it becomes available.

In light of this tragedy, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office is urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist with the investigation.
