A homicide that took place in Elizabeth on May 19th is under investigation, acting Union County Prosecutor Michael A. Monahan announced Monday.
The victim has been identified as Paris Lee, 20, of Plainfield.
Police say officers responded to the 400 block of Spring Street in Elizabeth at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday to find the body of Lee in the parking lot area of Angels Gentleman's Club.
Lee sustained gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene police said.
A joint investigation involving the Union County Homicide Task Force, the Elizabeth Police Department, the Plainfield Police Department, the Union County Police and the Union County Sheriff’s Office’s Identification Unit remains ongoing.
