Essex County authorities announced today that the Irvington Police Department and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are investigating a double shooting that resulted in the death of Mr. Eliameau Maxime, 32, of Orange.
Police sad on Saturday, April 24 Maxime was shot in the early morning hours on Union Avenue in Irvington.
According to police, he was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5:10 am.A 23-year-old was also shot but survived.
No arrests have been made.
