Circumstances leading to the death of two deer found in Kenilworth remain unclear but county officials believe the cause of death was from injuries sustained after a fall.
Kenilworth police added that there is no evidence of any poisoning or animal cruelty found during their investigation.
County officials believe the deer sustained injuries after falling from the parkway overpass which is directly above where they were found.
Residents contacted police after they discovered the dead deer and a cat today.
