UPDATE: Non-Fatal Injuries for Two Victims Shot in Paterson

Passaic County officials said  at approximately 12:09 a.m. on members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Broadway and Summer Street on a report of a shooting.

Official said upon arrival, members of the Paterson Police Department located a 20-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.

According to police, a short time later members of the Paterson Police Department were advised a 20-year-old male Haledon, resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Based on the preliminary investigation, police said,  it is believed the victims were in the area of Godwin Avenue and Summer Street when the shooting occurred. 

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
