Officials at the NJ Department of Corrections has released the following statement in response to a possible work action that occurred over the weekend:
“All New Jersey prisons are currently operating safely and there are no notable incidents to report regarding the inmate population at any one of our 13 facilities.
While it is important to provide visitation services and programs to the inmate population, our top priority is to maintain a secure environment, and we are actively monitoring staffing levels to ensure safety and security.”
There was
