Police in Newark requests the public’s assistance in identifying a man discovered deceased near the highway at Frelinghuysen Avenue and Empire Street on February 9th.
Police say the man is in his late 60s to mid-70s, 5’6” tall, and 120 lbs.
He had salt and pepper hair, was missing teeth and was last seen wearing a dark zippered jacket and cream-colored sweatpants.
Police say the man also had a blanket in his possession featuring a decal that reads “Kankam Corps III.”
There were no signs of foul play related to his death.
Police are seeking the man’s identity to notify his next of kin.
