Authorities have identified the 47-year-old Newark woman killed Tuesday in a crash on Interstate 78 in Somerset County.
Officials say Ms. Shonda Walker was traveling west on I-78, veered off the road and slammed into an SUV.
Police say Walker was transported to Overlook Medical Center in Summit, where she was pronounced dead at 7 a.m.
According to authorities, the other driver -
a 36-year-old High Bridge man - was also transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
