UPDATE: Newark Police Pursuit Ends in Town of Harrison Crash; Juveniles Arrested

According to police official, on Sunday, May 30th, around 10:00 pm, Harrison dispatch was advised that officers from the Newark Police Department were pursuing a wanted stolen motor vehicle, which entered the town of Harrison. 

Officials said further information was supplied and units were updated that the vehicle contained five juveniles wanted in connection with a robbery and that they were possibly armed. 

Police say the suspected vehicle crashed into a car parked in the driveway of 218 Jersey Street. 

According to police, the suspects exited the vehicle then led police on a brief foot pursuit through parts of Harrison. 

Police say all suspects were ultimately apprehended by Newark and Harrison police officers then transported to Newark for processing.

The juveniles are suspected of robbing several individuals in Newark at gunpoint, police said.

There were no injuries reported.
