Police officials in the Town of Harrison are trying to determine if a suspect caught in the act of burglarizing a vehicle in Harrison is responsible for several other vehicular burglary incidents in the town.
According to a statement released by police, at approximately 1:51 a.m. a male was observed breaking into a vehicle parked at 227 Sussex Street.
The witness contacted the Harrison Police department and units were dispatched to the area.
When Harrison units arrived at 1:53 am they observed a person in the vehicle who was attempting to duck down and hide.
Officials say Officer Pearson approached the car and began giving orders to the person in the vehicle.
According to Harrison authorities, Officer Archibald and Officer Burke arrived to assist and the actor was removed from the vehicle without incident.
Police arrested Mr. Danny Morales, 41, of Newark and charged him with burglary,
possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Hudson County jail.
