UPDATE: Multiple Gunshots Strike, Kills East Orange Man in New Brunswick

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department said today that an East Orange man has died after being shot last night in New Brunswick.

 

Authorities said Mr. Tawan J. Moses, 25, of East Orange, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds last night Friday at approximately 8:30pm.

 

Detective Brandt Gregus of the New Brunswick Police Department and Detective David Abromaitis of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office began an investigation after police were alerted to the shooting.

 

Police arrived to find the victim deceased on Throop Avenue near Feaster Park. An autopsy is pending by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office.
