UPDATE: Man Wanted for Montclair Shooting

Police in Montclair are on the search for a city man who they say shot and wounded a man Saturday night on Bloomfield Avenue.

According to a statement released by authorities, Mr. Rueben Moore, 28, of Montclair, is responsible for the incident.

Police say on Nov. 17, at approximately 7 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Bloomfield Avenue and Mission Street on a report of shots fired.

Officers arriving at the scene found a 26-year-old Montclair man with gunshot wounds on the floor of Finest Cuts Unisex barber shop.

Police say after being shot on Bloomfield Avenue, the victim made his way into the barber shop, where he then collapsed.

The victim was transported to Mountainside Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition, police said.

Montclair detectives identified Mr. Moore as the suspected shooter then charged him with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapons offenses.
