By: Richard L. Smith The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office are on the scene of a deadly shooting at a housing project near Vailsburg Park in Newark at this time.
A resident at the Bradley County housing projects dialed 911 after hearing multiple gunshots inside one of the buildings around 9:15 a.m. Saturday.
When police arrived, they found an unidentified male suffering bullet wounds at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported and the suspect ran from the scene as is at large.
