UPDATE: Man Reported Missing in Harrison Dies

Harrison Town Newark

A Harrison man who was reported missing earlier in the month then found unconscious on a street in Newark has died from a medical condition.

According to the family of Mr. Joseph on 31 December 2018, Joseph suffered a massive heart attack when a couple of brave pedestrians found him laying on the street breathless for approximately over 30 minutes.

Family members said the Good Samaritans provided CPR then dialed 911. "We are looking for the kind-hearted people that tried to help Joseph. We want to thank them", Joseph's mother said.

Paramedics arrived and continued medical procedures on the scene; ultimately resuscitating Joseph, then rushed him to University Hospital for further treatment family members said.

On January 3rd, RLS Media reporters were contacted by Joseph's family to assist in his disappearance after family did not know where he was, so they filed a report with the Harrison Police Department.

Family members say after four days, they were finally notified that Joseph had been in the hospital all along; fighting for his life.

"We stood by his side for several days, however, on January 10, 2019, his life support was removed as he was declared brain dead due lack of oxygen to his brain. We are heartbroken. No mother is expected to bury their child" the mother of Joseph said.
