Police offcials in East Orange are looking into the cause of a crash that killed a man in a section of the city Tuesday evening.
According to a preliminary investigation by East Orange Police, a man driving a white Dodge Durango crashed into a tree near 207 North Grove Street at approximately 8 p.m. on December 29, 2020.
East Orange Firefighters arrived at the scene and performed CPR then the driver was transported to University Hospital, where he later succumbed to injuries sustained from the crash.
The cause and other details regarding the accident are still under investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
