Passaic County authorities announced that an investigation is underway for a homicide that occurred in the county.
According to Paterson Police, on December 29, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of North Main Street and Arch Street in the city of Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Police say upon arrival, officers found a male, who is currently unidentified, with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to officials, he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
