Police in Newark are continuing to investigate the cause of death of a man found dead inside a trailer in Newark's South Ward Sunday.
According to interim Newark Public Safety Director Raul Malave, at approximately 4:05 p.m., Sunday, July 24, Newark Police responded to the 500 block of Frelinghuysen Avenue on a call of an unresponsive male located inside a tractor-trailer.
Units arrived at the scene, found the victim and attempted to apply medical techniques.
Officials said the unidentified victim was pronounced at 4:32 p.m.
Newark Public Safety Director Raul Malave said that while this incident is not considered suspicious, it remains under investigation.
