UPDATE: Livingston Motorcyclist Killed in Morris County Highway Crash

New Jersey State Police are conducting an investigation into a tragic motor vehicle accident that occurred at 1:14 a.m. on Friday morning.

State Police officials said the incident occurred on I-280 East near milepost 0.5, situated in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township. 

Preliminary findings indicate that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound in the vicinity of milepost 0.5 when, for reasons yet to be determined, the motorcycle veered off the road to the left.

According to State Police, the motorcycle collided with a concrete barrier and overturned.

Tragically, the driver of the motorcycle, identified as Mr. Jason M. Otero, a 44-year-old resident of Livingston, sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident.

The investigation into this heartbreaking incident is ongoing, with authorities diligently working to piece together the circumstances surrounding the crash.
