Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers announced today that the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force is investigating the fatal shooting of Mr. Zaveuxm Waynick, 20, of Irvington.
According to a statement released by police, on Sunday, Waynick was fatally shot in the 100 block of Park Place in Irvington.
Medics pronounced Waynick dead at the scene at around1:39 pm.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
