Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 7:00, p.m. on July 6th, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 25-year-old and a 19-year-old male Paterson residents arrived at Hackensack University Medical Center, in Hackensack for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds.
According to police, based on the initial investigation, it is believed the shooting occurred in the area of 17th Avenue and East 24th.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
