Authorities in Atlantic County are requesting the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate the shooting death of Craig Wyatt, which occurred in Pleasantville on October 4, 2022.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit stated that evening, at approximately 10:47 p.m., Pleasantville police responded to a report of shots fired on the 200 block of 4th Avenue.
Upon arrival, responding officers located Craig Wyatt, 55, unconscious and unresponsive outside a residence, ACPO officials say. 
Atlantic County officials said he was pronounced deceased on the scene. The investigation had been ongoing since that time.
ACPO is urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in identifying and prosecuting the responsible person or persons. In some instances, even the smallest details may prove vital to solving a case and bringing closure to a victim’s loved ones.
