UPDATE: Investigation Continues Into Fatal Crash in Randolph

Police in Randolph are continuing to investigate a car crash that caused fatal injuries on a highway that goes through the Township on Monday evening.

According to police, the crash happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Rt. 10 and Dover Chester Road in Randolph.

Police were called to the scene after receiving reports of a crash with injuries where they arrived to find three people suffering severe injuries after a vehicle somehow lost control and crashed then overturned at that location.

Police say, one person was pronounced dead, and EMS transported two others were to the hospital.

Police did not release the identity of the fatally injured victim until contact is made with next of kin according to officials.

The crash had police close a portion of Route 10 for several hours for the investigation.
