Passaic County Officials announced that on Sunday at approximately 12:26 a.m., police officers responded to the area of 315 Park Avenue in the City of Paterson in response to a report of a group fighting and a male stabbed.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered Luis Ramirez, 26-years-old from Paterson, lying in the street next to a parked vehicle with apparent stab wounds.
Police said Mr. Ramirez was unresponsive and he was pronounced deceased on scene.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
