A five-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway this evening has police investigating, police said.
According to police, the crash occurred sometime around 8 p.m. on the southbound lanes of the Parkway near exit 135.
The circumstances surrounding the crash nor the identities of the victims have been released,
According to initial reports,
a person suffering serious injuries was transported to University Hospital in Newark.
Expect heavy residual delays on the highway. .
