UPDATE: Englewood Man Killed in NJ Turnpike Truck Crash

NJ State Police has identified the driver of a milk truck who was killed in a crash on the NJ Turnpike Wednesday morning.

According to officials, Mr. Cristian A. Vergara, 24, of Englewood was killed when the milk truck that he was operating crashed into the concrete barrier then overturned.

Police say the truck spilled milk onto the outer lanes just north of Exit 13 then ignited in flames at around 1:45 a.m.

Police say there were no other vehicles involved in the crash which remains under investigation.

The crash caused massive delays during the morning commute.
