UPDATE: Elizabeth Police Disperses Crowd of Juveniles Fighting near High School; Injuries

A teenaged boy was taken to Trinitas Hospital suffering minor cut sounds after a massive fight broke out near the high school on Friday afternoon.

According to Elizabeth city Spokeswoman Kelly Martins, police dispersed a crowd of teen who were engaged in a physical confrontation in the vicinity of Pearl and South streets at approximately 3:45 p.m.

According to Spokeswoman Martins, during the fight, one of the juveniles produced a small sharp object and cut the victim on the arm before fleeing the scene.

Spokeswoman Martins said no arrests have been made at this point and Elizabeth Police are actively investgiating the incident.

There were no other injuries reported.
