The Mercer County Prosecutor's Officer are on the search for the suspect that fatally shot a woman in Trenton early Sunday morning.
According to a statement released by police, just after 4:30 this morning, Trenton police responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of Southard and Calhoun streets.
Officials say officers arrived at the scene and located a vehicle struck multiple times by gunfire at the intersection.
According to officials, inside the vehicle was an unresponsive female victim, in her thirties, with a bullet wound.
EMS rushed the unidentified woman to the hospital where doctors pronounced her dead a short time later officials said
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police are investigating.
