The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office are investigating a stabbing that killed a man at a shopping center in Maywood Tuesday evening.
A preliminary investigating indicated that at approximately 6:05 p.m., Paramus Police were called to the Whole Foods Supermarket to investigate reports of a stabbing at that location.
Upon arrival, Paramus authorities notified Maywood and informed them that they found a severely injured male victim in the parking lot suffering stab wounds on their side of the border.
The unidentified male was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was treated then pronounced dead a short time later.
Bergen County officials have not released the motive for the stabbing and no arrests have been made.
